His career began with United Health Group as a Director with actuarial analysis and product development in New York,leading to a worldwide career of over 200 advisory projects with clients such as AIG, Microsoft, BNY Mellon, AMEX, Citi Group, NY Power Authority in the US, international clients such as RBS and MTN across Banking, Insurance, and Infrastructure sectors. Shahriar currently serves as Chief Risk and Investment Advisor to Wasore , a US based Water and Soli Regenration Technology Solution Company.
Shahriar has developed the leading and patented Risk Accounting Ledger Systems; Risk Mosaic Spot™: Investment Risk and Due Diligence and ENa™: Enterprise Risk and Resilience Platforms.
He has served on Executive Audit, Risk and Compliance Committees of Fortune 500 companies. He is a graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York with advanced graduate studies at Harvard University.
Shahriar also serves as an advisor to non-governmental and community organisations on a voluntary basis in support of their sustainable development projects.
